A meeting between the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (Madhesi Morcha) and the government has been scheduled from 6 PM today at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, informed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s press advisor Pramod Dahal.
Dahal further added that Madhesi Morcha has urged judicial investigation for the incidents that happened during the 6 months long Madhes unrest while submitting the memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today. Today’s negotiation is likely to focus on the same issue, added Dahal
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had urged the agitating party to hold negotiations today in order to solve the current issues and Morcha was positive towards it, said Dahal.
Madhesi Morcha on Friday submitted a 7 points memorandum to Prime Minister Oli reaching his residence to find a proper headway to the demands raised by them and warned to launch a serious agitation in Nepal if the demands are not met anytime soon.
